Spam folder

The Spam folder is accessible via SquirrelMail. However, the Spam folder currently doesn't appear in UebiMiau's Folder List.

Is there a way to access it using UebiMiau as well?

I have tried but was unsuccessful. We will be replacing Uebi with RCMail as our default /webmail application since it can easily be configured to see the Inbox.spam folder.

If anyone has anything to add on this I too would greatly appreciated it.

UebiMiau doesn't use imap to find folders; you'd probably have to create manual links so the directory appears where UebiMiau expects it.

You can change uebimiau settings, use imap and spam folders
but this script is crap because it copies data so use a lot of disk space as temp and work folder.
Prefer squirrel.

The DA staff first used UebiMiau because early DA builds didn't offer IMAP but only POP3, and UebiMiau was a good solution for POP3.

When they added IMAP they left UebiMiau for backwards compatibility.

I believe that UebiMiau can be built to use IMAP and that if you build it that way, it uses IMAP boxes and doesn't create its own.

But I don't know with certainty because I've never done it.

On new servers we like to just use Squirrelmail.

In fact we link webmail to it.

I did it, i set up imap for uebimiau.
This was not so easy to have it run.

I even installed uebimiau script successors.

Just advice avoid this.

If you really want another solution, use horde serverwide, but this is not very good for server ressources.
