spamassasain does not block junkmail

I recently installed spamasain and set the flter very high, and yet i am still receiving junkmail (up to 1k mails a day).
no idea why spam asssain sint working.

What do you see in the email headers?

nothing that denotes spammssasin is checing every email. Its like spamassamin is not activated.

Did you check if SpamAssassin is enabled on the specific domain?
Else you should have results in your headers.

Any news from your logfiles maybe? /var/log/maillog would be a great place to start. It should have records from spamd.

ther eis nothing in my adminlevel regarding spamassasain, not in the plugins ections. but as a user, spam assain is lsited, and tahts where i cahgne the options.

as for teh var log, thereis nothing regadign spamm assasin either just logs of loggnign in to the emial accounts.

If there aren't any SpamAssassin headers in each incoming email showing it went through SpamAssassin, then SpamAssassin isn't running on the server. Check the Knowledge Base for more information, and make sure SpamAssassin is uncommented in your /etc/exim.conf file.

so it was commented in teh exim file, i uncomennted it and it started working well, actually too well, i wasnt getting any email via pop, regardless of the opitons in DA.

Did you install it? If you uncomment those lines and don't actually install SpamAssassin, it won't install itself, and nothing will be delivered.
