SSH admin login, doesn't have permission to view /home directories

I'm logged into my admin account via SSH right now and I cannot view anything in the /home directories... I just get a "dir: .: Permission denied".

Any ideas?

The Admin account is not the root account it will not allow you to access any other dir then its own

when logged in as admin, type "su -" and enter the pass for the root account, then you can do anything, incl deleting everything
