No it doesnt. The admin account is only a default account that comes with da. Directadmin doesnt even need ssh. But you better make sure you have at least one user that can login to ssh incase you have issues.
 
I dont think so, that is just for allow access ssh from external.

But, you will need for sure at least 1 user able to login from external.

Suggested NOT root.

Your ssh configuration does not affect local users; only users connecting over the open Internet.

I'm betting that DirectAdmin itself doesn't even care if ssh exists on your server. It doesn't know your admin password (it gives you one when it installs, but if you change it, then DirectAdmin doesn't have the new one and DirectAdmin continues to work).

In short it shouldn't affect anything.
