Hello,

I am having some problems with setting up a SSL certificate on my domain.
I have SBS Secure, but it does not work. Domain have his own IP address.

Am I doing this correct?
1. SSL Certificates in DirectAdmin
2. I paste the private key (which I used to request) and certificate from SBS in "Paste a pre-generated certificate and key".
3. Clicked on "Save".
4. Then go to "Click Here to paste a CA Root Certificate"
5. Downloaded Certificate chain from SBS (http://www.securebusinessservices.com/help/install-certificate/apache-ssl.asp)
6. Copy, paste it into the CA Root certificate.
7. Save
8. Restart Apache

The following day https://website.com and https://www.websites.com did not show the SBS secure certificate, instead it shows the old self generated certificate.

I also tried to paste the certificate key from SBS in CA Root, but that also did not work.

At last, I manually changed the path in httpd.conf to the .key and .crt, and that also did not work.

Am I doing something wrong? What's the correct way of installing a SSL certificate?

Thanks in advance.

Have you been able to get anywhere with this? Is your domain name really website.com? If so, then it looks like there's a wildcart Certificate there but not working properly.

It is website.com, made a typo in my previous post.
There is a self generated wildcard certificate, I've been checking several websites and they popup the same certificate.

How can I make the SBS secure work for website.com?

Could it be the domain pointers? I have a few domain pointers, like website.net / .org / .biz

I can't be sure why it's not working. Perhaps someone else will resond.

We do offer commercial services; we could look at your server and fix it so it'd work, but don't know how long it would take.
