Stange exim / spamassassin issue

Hi,

The problem we are currently facing is that e-mail that is not marked as spam still gets send to user spam folder.

As you can see the score is 1.7 and spam settings is at 7.5 but e-mail did go to spam box.

What could be the problem ?

There are millions of reasons it could go to the spam folder. Adjust your client settings. It probably has nothing to do with anything server side.

Still i do think its server side when i look in exim main log i find:

2012-04-19 09:06:19 1SKlRX-0001hJ-JS => /home/klant00206/Maildir/.INBOX.spam/new/ <[email protected]> F=<[email protected]> R=domain_filter T=address_file S=98524

This looks to me that its placed in the spam folder on server side

Well your spamassassin and exim versions are very outdated. I would upgrade those. Then look to switch to spamblocker 4 http://www.nobaloney.net/spamblocker.html

Look for more log lines in the logs to see whats going on.

Ok account is now running on a compleet new install with latest versions and spamblocker 4 the problem still occurs.

One thing we found out and is logical the mail got send to the main account spam folder becouse the e-mail isnt a local pop3 box but only added as forwarder.

The strange part still is that it went to a spam folder, it is about another e-mail that was send to the same account here is the exim main log log rules:
