sub domains

I have delete a lot of subdomain on my website. But now you see nothing if you visit that subdomein. You get a error from your browser (not the server) that the page don't exist.

Now I just want to redirect people that enters a wrong subdomain to my homepage. How can i do that on user level?

I have try it with .htaccess but that is not working.

You have to get your host to enable wildcard subdomains.

I have just send a email to the support. I don't now anything about "wildcard subdomains".
