Subdomain limits

Is it possible to limit each subdomains size and bandwith?

you better double check this, but you may be able to add a subdomain as a full account therefor setting limits. not 100% sure if that will work, someone else confirm?

how would you go about doing this? I'm a little lost, but I need to limit subdomains.

eg:

create
http://user.domain.com
[email protected]

limit http://user.domain.com to 1 gb space, 20 gb transfer.

limit [email protected] to 1 gb space

what works for me

what works for me is....

(assuming you have reseller privileges


1) IP MANAGEMENT
2) select the ip the domain is that, then click the share button.

1) make a package.
2) ADD USER
3) wham bam. it will email them and they are set up with direct admin also on a user level of course

I already have the account setup as a user account. Is there a simple way to change a current user account into a reseller account?
I don't want to convert all of it by hand because I would have to redo everything and lose emails, etc.
