subdomain login

I created a subdomain for someone. I wanted to make it so they could login and only have access to their subdomain folder. I followed the directions at this link:



http://www.site-helper.com/subdomains.html But I am unable to login. Example: created subdomain: http://real.seasons.com



So I set up an FTP account called [email protected]
with a password.



However this does not work to login with the [email protected] with the password.



Any suggestions?

Are you using a proper ftp client?
Internet explorer does not like multiple at signs in the address and sometimes doesn't work.

Do you have root access to the server or are you a user?
If you are are user, you should contact your hosting provider for more help.
