Subdomain not accessible

Hi,

I created subdomains and they appear in the public folder. Per the help file they should be accessible from the www.domain.com/subdomain. But when I test, the http 403 error ( the forbidden) appears. The subdomain also has the correct permission number (755) that allows access. What should I check and or modify.

The apache error log for the domain would be a great place to start looking.
