subdomain problems

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong?

I cannot access my subdomain via:

http://www.psudan.com/weblog/

but I can via:

http://weblog.psudan.com/

Shouldn't they both work?

Now I realized this because i wanted my site root to point to that subdomain.

So everyone who went to www.psudan.com --> weblog.psudan.com

I figured DA had the ability to do that using redirect. But when I attempt to do that, it causes a loop it seems. never ending.

Please help (i'm a newb!)

I believe it'll work if you do the redirect from www.psudan.com to www.psudan.com/weblog.
