+1 on hetrixtools and also Cloudflare health monitoring checks if you use Cloudflare

You may consider -
- Use free (Nagios, self-hosted) to monitor most of your services, and
- also use 3rd party (paid) service to monitor the self hosted monitoring (e.g. Nagios), as well as a few services (to ensure both the monitoring and network are up)

hetrixtools is nice

I've used Munin for some time. Also nice with all kinds of views. But a bit harder to configure and sometimes mails did not get send.
Since our server transfers, we set all servers to Hetrixtools which can also do a variety of things which you also partly can configure.
Works great! And almost no resources used.
