Dear all,
I recently encountered 2 colocated customers sharing 1 IP.
Customer 1 was running ns2 on that IP, however customer 2 programmed the IP in his bios for his remote control card.
Because local presence is required to fix this we decided to switch the nameserver 2 ip.
Old situation:
ns1.rimedia.nl 195.144.2.45
ns2.rimedia.nl 195.144.2.46
Switching to
ns1.rimedia.nl 195.144.2.45
ns2.rimedia.nl 195.144.2.53
I suspect the change to take time to propangate.
I however get a strange error telling nameserver 1 is broken.
Is this normal behavior?
Cause this is still the same IP.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Armand
