I'm emailing on behalf of the owners of americanmortgageauditing.com - we desperately need the login information for our domain. We've tried contacting technical support but they don't seem to respond. How can I get this issue resolved so we can log in?

Contact your hosting provider, which I would bet quite a fair sum of money is not DirectAdmin seeing as DirectAdmin is a controlpanel

If they're the control panel, wouldn't I host the domain here? The guy who used to work on the domain said it was hosted here. I'll pass the info along to the owner of the domain.

Uh, No.
DirectAdmin is the control panel. Meaning that it is installed on thousands of web servers administered by several thousand administrators.
You need to contact your hosting provider since I can almost guarantee DirectAdmin themselves in not hosting your domain. I could always be wrong, but I highly doubt it in this situation
