Hi,
I dont know exactly where I messed up here - but I need help to get out. Somehow I got to a state where, when I try to add a domain to a user, I get the message that the domain could not be created because it already exists - - - but it does not. I have have eradicated all instanced of that name anywhere - short of grep'ing all files on the server for the name of the domain - but certainly not in /usr/local/directadmin or in the users home directory.

Where could directadmin keep the memory of that domain???

thank you in advance
Merlin

To elaborate on what Martynas said above...DA will not let you create the domain if a DNS record exists. Just head into DNS Admin and delete the domain in question and it *should* let you create it again.
