The Restore User account cannot be overwritten

I'm trying to restore a user account from a backup, but it can't be overwritten. How can I replace the existing account with the backup file in DirectAdmin?

I am facing the issue that I keep getting the error message

An error occurred during the restore.
The user already exists on the server.

I know the user exists on the server, and I want to replace it with the backup file.

If you are using Admin backup/transfer then just delete the user first and then use the restore option.

Why is there no option for users to replace or overwrite backups? How does the restoration process work? Does the user need to delete their account?

it weird, in previous version I can restore on exists account.

Did you already try to tick the checkbox "Show Dangerous" and select user from their then test restore it ?

Does the user need to delete their account?

No normally one can overwrite the account when using admin backup/transfer. But you can do admin backup, reseller backup and user backup.
I don't know which backup you are using and which way you try to restore it.
