Yesterday I installed DA on a CentOS 6.5 x64 server. I used CustomBuild 1.2 and all the options are default.
Now every hour I get an email saying:
Code:
A new message or response with subject:

The service 'lshttpd' on server da.server.com is currently down

has arrived for you to view.
Follow this link to view it:

Do Not Reply.

In DA under 'Admin Tools -> Service Monitor' it says "lshttpd Process is stopped"
httpd is running though.

What is 'lshttpd'? I have never seen it before on any DA server. Do I need it? If so, why doesn't it run? If I don't need it, how do I get rid of this service and it's messages.

Hello,

That was actually an installer bug, which was present for about a day.
It's since been fixed, and new installs won't be affected by it.

If you do get that error, edit:
Code:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/services.status
and delete the lshttpd line.
The bug was that the initial setup of the services.status by the DA binaries was adding the extra value, when it shouldn't have.
