Hi

Yesterday I have been pointed out that the date&time stamps on emails are not correctly shown in Uebimiau. Squirrelmail does give the correct info.

Dates on two mails in the inbox show (in the English Skin)
Date: Nov 02, 121245 12:00 AM
Date: Feb 26, 121244 12:00 AM
all mails are sent/received at 12:00 AM

The same two emails have these timestamps in the Portugese skin:
Data: 02/11/45 00:00
Data: 26/02/44 00:00

And this is what squirrelmail says about these two emails:
Date: Mon, June 2, 2008 18:01
Date: Mon, June 2, 2008 11:17

Anyone with an idea what this might be??

(I have access to the server but am somewhat of a n00b ;-)

Thanx a lot!

Look at the actual sourcecode and tell us what the datestamp says there.

Also tell us the output of the following run from your server command line:
Code:
date

I am not sure if I know what you mean by the source code... which source code?

I know it must be something with uebimiau since the same mails appear with the correct date/time stamp in the Inbox of Squirrelmail... [Perhaps that did help you some]

Here the result from the server...

Hope it gives you a clue where to look for the problem. I appreciate your help a lot!!

Thanx for now.

I didn't make myself clear :(. I meant the actual source of the email. How you get that depends on your email client.

I think the problem is in UebiMiau. Have you installed the latest version?

Jeff

Hi Jeff

Thanx for stopping by once more.

I am @ uebimiau right now, but I can't find the version number in the webapplication. Which file (location) would lead me to this info??

Thanx again.

John

The problem has been solved.

It seemed to have been an incompatibility problem between my 64-bits server and the application 'clean webmail'.

Just wanted to let you know.

Bye.
