I am trying to do some update_versions now and it can't connect:
hmmm... 9:54AM 1/11/2010
I figured I can notify you in case it was some major issue.

Code:

Code:

and I get this:

BTW: I am using custombuild 1.1, and I see custombuild 1.2 has an option of fileserver that I can change to europe server. This will happen after I move to Custombuild 1.2.
Is custombuild 1.2v ready to go? and the easiest part to migrate would be?

thank you for into

Code:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build update
./build set custombuild 1.2
./build update

Hello

Im getting the same error.

Wen i do what you say smtalk, it still outputs the same :

I guess you have an empty versions.txt file then. Please post the output of:
Code:
cat /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/versions.txt

If it's not the cause - I can take a look at your server and find the problem, just let me know.

Hello

Thx for help.

There is no output, the file is empty.

How can i recreate that file ?

Thx again for your help,
Sky

Code:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
wget -O versions.txt http://files.directadmin.com/services/custombuild/versions.txt

Hello

Thx.
I do not know why, but the resolv.conf file had namserver set to 127.0.0.1... causes some problems with wget and da updates.

Doing general update to get thing back working ok.

Email where also having problems ^^

Thx and nice day.
Sky

so the versions.txt was empty, and the wget command given above fixed it.
Then I ran that custombuild update commands 1.1 to 1.2.
and tried to do ./build versions and ./build update_versions
and I got this:
Code:

It seems the server had a corrupted MySQL package. Try:

It seems the server had a corrupted MySQL package. Try:

Same problem here, how did you fixed it?
I can't find any mysql*.tar.gz files in /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild, seems like they are in /usr/local/ ?

./build set mysql 5.1
./build mysql

Try:
Code:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild

I already have:

Code:
mysql=5.1
mysql_inst=yes
mysql_backup=yes

in options.conf, and I already tried ./build clean and ./build update before ./build mysql, so I don't think this will fix my problem.

I can't find any mysql packages in /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild.
Seems like they are here:

Code:

The error reports that the tar package is corrupt, so I need to figure out how to download fresh copies to the right folder.

[edit]
I forgot to say the server runs 5.0.90 now, this problems occurs when I want to update to 5.1

First remove the corrupted files
Code:
rm -Rf /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/mysql
Then follow the instructions by smtalk
