Upgrading to Exim 4.60

Hello,

I have a problem with Exim and SpamAssassin creating exim <defunct> zombies.

I'm getting 421 errors in emails.
I've searched the forum for this problem, and I think it has something to do with the version of Exim that I'm running.
At the moment I'm running Exim 4.50 on Fedora Core 2 and the version of SA is 3.1.3.

I want to update to Exim 4.60 and see if this solves the problem.

I download the newest Exim rpm from this site:

When I try to install with rpm -i i get these errors:

What should I do? A lot of my clients use email via my server and I'm afraid if I do something wrong email wont work anymore.

When upgrading you should use

rpm -Uvh

instead of

rpm -ivh

Thanks, chatwizrd, I used on of the autoupdated scripts that are here on the forums.

After installing EXim 4.62, I still get the 421 error's. Turns out this is caused by SpamAssassin. SA sucks anyway ( on level of blocking ) so switching to Spamblocker today .

I have no problem with sa 3.1.3 and exim & FC3
something wrong with your installation.
I have very very good spam filtering with SA.
