Uploading a compressed file

Hi,

Is it possible to use some other method to upload a compressed file then unzip it within directadmin instead of using file manager uploading one file at a time?

I think you can upload the .tar.gz via ftp and then extract it through DA's filemanager afterwards.

DA is missing a decent filemanager plugin that could uncompress most common formats.
