I think I may have found a bug in the DA user backup. I created a user backup on one server, which had higher limits than the reseller on a different DA server. The restore failed due to the limits, but the userid was created on the server but never added to the reseller. Once that happens, the admin needs to get involved to remove the user or reassociate the user to the reseller.

Hello,

Thanks for the report. Can you specify, is it the actual number of items being used by the User that generated the error, or is it the allocation limit that is triggering the error?

Also, if you happen to still have the exact wording of the error message that would be helpful as well. (Remove any sensitive information if applicable)

I don't have the log files, it wasn't my system that the restore was being done to. I also don't have the exact error message, but I do remember that it said something like the current Reseller doesn't have the permissions to add Unlimited emails and forwarders. The new reseller had hard limits on both emails and forwarders, and when the backup was made, that reseller did not have a hard limit and neither did the user.
