user no need domain to log into webmail?

When the user is defined, it needs only user name to log into webmail? Sebsequent users, the domain.ca is added and is needed to log into webmail.

Is this normal? Anyway we can change the user to use the domain name too?

The site user, i.e., the user who owns the site, is a normal unix/linux user and doesn't need the @example.com suffix, since the login information is found in /etc/passwd.

But email users are not standard unix/linux users, and they need the suffix so the webmail client will know where to find the login information.
