[Resolved] user not able to receive any emails

Hi

I have a user not able to receive any emails to any of his accounts, He can send emails from the webmail with no problems, but receiving is just not happening.

I know that he changed his domain within his account at 1 stage and now hes changed it back to the original domain.

I have tried creating a new email account and this has the same problem, also its the same problem from the main email account.

All other accounts on the server are working 100%, just this one user with this issue.

Has anyone got any ideas please?

Not being funny, but how am i to know what information you require?

You want us to figure out why an email address is not working. We need the email address. None of the other information matters yet.

Here is the rejected message:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

[email protected]
SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[email protected]>:
host eforward3.registrar-servers.com [205.251.134.191]:
554 5.7.1 Client host rejected: cannot find your hostname, [74.117.232.34]

Looks like there is some kind of problem on eforward3.registrar-servers.com preventing it from doing DNS lookups

Hi, thanks for the reply, would this be there domain registrar?

It looks like you are not hosting DNS for them. They will need to figure out how to do it at their registrar.

Hi Floyd, with your pointer towards the registrar its now been resolved, the plank had a redirect box ticked with no redirect set, this was in his domain account, thanks again for your help :)

And you haven't given us any information at all. If the problem was exactly the same as the original poster's problem, then you should simply follow Floyd's advice.

If not, then ask specific questions.

Jeff
