Hi,

I couldn't find an answer in the forums so forgive me if it has already been answered.

We have been playing around with DirectAdmin for a couple of weeks now. Please correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that the default behavior when a user goes over their limits is as follows:

- Suspend user turned ON: DA suspends site and sends out emails.
- Suspend user turned OFF: DA does nothing.

Typically the way we handle limits is to bill for the overages but not suspend the site. However, we would still like to receive emails that the user has gone over their limits. That way we know who to bill :)

Is this possible, or do we have to write our own scripts to gather this information when the "user suspend" option is turned off?

Thanks!

Dave

Without knowing how many servers or users you have its hard to know if this is a viable option of not, but you can look at the list of all users and easily see who has gone over either disk or bandwidth limits.

If you turn off quotas for your OS distribution, and then set up your resellers to allow overselling, and set up all users to have limits but not enforce them, you'll get the emails but the domains won't be suspended.

Hey, thanks for the replies! Right now we only have a few servers running DA. We are trying to move away from Plesk due to the bugs and outrageous licensing.

Thanks for the help!
