users missing in admin page

users missing in admin page.
but can click on show all users and everybody is there.
mail seems to be working but website have a fresh install page for apache up.
all files are intact for users.

i did this by running an install script.
to solve a mail problem i had cause trying to setup spam blocking and clam av.

can i get some advice on the best way to get the users back without messing more stuff up.

all mysql data seems intact

can access sites via http://rootdomain/~username

i imagine there is just a config file out of wack.

cd /etc/httpd/conf/
cp httpd.conf.back httpd.conf

this got wesites back up
but still show no user in direct admin.

What's in your /usr/local/directadmin/data/users directory ?

If this doesn't have your domains in it you're in trouble.

I don't know how to rebuild it; perhaps DA support can help.
