uw-imapd max connections

Hi to all,
I have a server with Directadmin and as imapd I use uw-imapd.
Now I found a problem regarding max connections from same IP.
I would like to know if is possible to fix it.
Or if is possible to set some IPs from which accepts multiple connections.

Since I no longer have machines which don't use Dovecot, I can't prove that, but there are lots of threads on these forums referring to uw-imap. Are you certain that DirectAdmin didn't run uw-imap in the days before Dovecot?

I guess it was...based on some on the files on files.directadmin.com.

Since you don't see any responses by now I'd think not many people are using it on their DirectAdmin servers anymore; we started the change to Dovecot years ago.

Are you trying to limit imap connections? If so, then I'd strongly suggest searching these forums and considering a change to Dovecot; it's much more efficient. However it will move all your email to /home and it will thus subject email to quota limits, so you may need to raise quotas for your users. Most of us it and highly recommend it.
