VPS - Internal License

Hi,

I am using directadmin with my hosting package for more than a year but now I want to move my VPS to a different provider but they don't have a option for the directadmin as I can only select cPanel from them but they said if I want to have a directadmin then I have to buy a license and install by myself. I want to continue using Directadmin but the price for the license is very expensive for me to install on the VPS so I would like to know if I can get an Internal owned license. i am not a big hosting company but I am providing few websites hosting for my friends and free for some non-profit organisations. If I am not qualify for the internal lincense then is it possible to have some discount on the original. I am willing to have a life-time license.

i send them an email from gmail as well as from directadmin but never heard from them. that's quite sad.

My understanding is that DirectAdmin internal licenses are for datacenters and hosting companies who rent out virtual or dedicated servers which include DirectAdmin, and only for use on such rented servers.

I've found no published informaton on specific licenses for Virtual Private Servers, but my understanding (maybe wrong) is that these are only available for blocks of licenses.

I'd like to think you'd consider hosting companies who support DirectAdmin by offering it on their Virtual and Dedicated servers when looking for a server in your price range. I have no idea of your price range, and it's not fair of me to single out individual vendors on this public forum (especially since I sell hosting myself, as do probably most of us on these forums), but I've found very low priced VPS offerings which include DirectAdmin.
