UebiMiau Mail Problem

When I send an email to my account and logged into UebiMiau Mail, the inbox does not see the new email. I have to log out and log back in to see the new email.

Also my logins for UebiMiau and SquirrelMail are so slow. Sometimes it takes 20 - 30 seconds to log into these accounts when there is no email in these accounts and no mail activity and little other activity on the server.

Clicking on "Folders" takes 15 - 25 seconds. This is with no folders

Anyone experience these problems?

I don't use UebiMiau so I can't help you with the logout-login issue...

but you might try a browser refresh and see if that helps you see new email.

Or click on the "inbox" icon or link to refresh the inbox screen.

Others have reported slow webmail and most of us believe it's got something to do with mailbox size. Since mailboxes (and folders) on DA are each in a single file, your webmail program (any of them) must load in all the emails before it can show you your first screen.

How many emails do you have in your inbox? How large are they (both of these affect mailbox size)?

Well I understand the problem on large accounts, but I am talking about accounts with 2 emails in them or even none.

Uebu problem with refreshing, I have tried everything to refresh. I have to log out and log back in.

As for the delays, they happen in both Ubeu and Squirrel. 30 seconds from login to inbox page load when there is 1 email doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

The server connection is good and there is little activity on the server. server load 0.
Note this is not always the case ut it is very often.
