Good day,
I am running DA on FreeBSD 5.3 and at this moment I am noticing a complete fall out from the webserver during the day. This moment I didn't find any clue. We webserver is located in an colocation area, so that shouldn´t be the problem.
My question:
How/what ust I do to find out what the problem is causing.
What I did till now was:
* Creating a script running vmstat each time each minute as a user. idle time was 97%, so that is not the problem. (Is a running as a user enought or must this run like root or so). And this job was just running and running afte 17:05.
* Adding traces to the log at each connect made.
* So far I can analyse by al log the server was down at 17:05 (My website is quite busy, so inside 1 minute it should be noticed).
* There are no many further tasks in the cronjob, so that shouldn't also be a problem.
Who can tell me were to start what the problem
