welcome email not being sent.. it was before

so just made an account for a friend

and noticed we both havent gotten the email to confirm its setup so i resent it, and it still isnt being sent or delivered?

unsure why?

any help?

Did you check the logs to see if it sent? /var/log/exim/mainlog

Well if it says it sent then it did. Check your junk folder in gmail.

it was in junk files, how do i stop email being sent to users junk files? :s is there a certain setting or email i can use?
