What desktop email client are you using now in 2022?

Outlook because I'm using that already many years.
For opensource, Thunderbird is the best.
EMClient is nice and free for 1 mail address, you have to pay to use more addresses.

If you would be to start with a mail client now, I would advise Thunderbird.

For all old fans from Outlook Express: I`m using the cheap "OE Classic" which runs under all Windows Versions, from XP till 11 :)

I'm running Thunderbird. I can't really fault it!

I've used Microsoft Outlook before, but found the UI was a bit over the top (maybe it has improved in recent years?) and contained many bells and whistles I didn't need. Thunderbird is beautifully simple :)

One of the things that keep me addicted to macOS is their Mail app, it is just so simple, fast and clean, and it's easy to manage accounts and settings.

If I had to use Linux or Windows, I would go for Thunderbird, which is very much like Apple Mail. I had my troubles with it, adding accounts can be a bit frustrating, and I found it slow at times, but I could live with it.

+1 Thunderbird, can agregate few different emails, a lot of plugins, flexible filters, "teachable" antispam :)
