What does the admin level backup actually backups?

Hello all,

Ive been searching this forum now for over an our and i have also looked at http://www.servertune.com/mgnt/ but i cant figure out my question.

What does the admin level backup actually do? does it saves users email, mysql databases and files? does it backup more or less?

It backs all the user data and settings for that user account. Perhaps if you tell us why you are asking the question we can help you better. Why do you want to know the specifics? You can always open the backup file and look at what it backed up.

Hi,

I want to make sure that all my users email and databases are backed up daily... and because the full system backup fails i would like to now if at least the mail and databases are saved using the admin backup function...

You don't want a full system backup anyway since there is no automatic restore. Admin backup backs up everything you need. If you have been searching the forum no doubt you have come across the posts about using it to migrate users from one server to another. There is a HOWTO on that.
