That's not where the install is.[ec2-user@ip-X ~]$ curl -6 https://licensing.directadmin.com/install
sh <(curl -6 -fsSL https://download.directadmin.com/setup.sh) '__insert_your_license_key_here__'You know what Richard, That sounds like a side quest for me to have a look at later with IPv6 only and DAThat's not where the install is.
Try this:
sh <(curl -6 -fsSL https://download.directadmin.com/setup.sh) '__insert_your_license_key_here__'
Next to that, I thought a server still required minimal 1 ipv4 still. I could be wrong.
Are you sure or are you looking at CloudVPS? Because if I look at dedicate servers, still 1 ipv4 is delivered for free.Regarding an IPv4, Hetzner offer IPv6 only access to servers if you don't want to pay the extra €0.50 for the IPv4 a month.
Yes, VPS have the option of IPv6 only. And you're correct, they add in an IPv4 with a dedi, but you don't have to use that if you didn't want to and could potentially disable them in the kernel. Personally I do use them as I host, as you, and it would be suicidal not to use them in this environment, but I believe you can request dedis from Hetzner IPv6 only but that's a support ticket avenue to travel and a little too much like work for what very little it would save in my case. Are you sure or are you looking at CloudVPS? DA is way ahead with ipv6 as DA can run on ipv6 only if I'm correct, but the way more expensive cPanel still can not and have other ipv6 little issues as I experienced.
So DA should be able to install on ipv6 too. Never tested it though.
@peps03 You could send in a ticket at DA.
