I've created reseller, and assign him 1 dedicated IP address.
If one of users of reseller made some illegal spam mailing what IP
address will be listed in RBL ? server's or reseller's ?

The question is, does MTA(exim) use reseller IP address to send mails ?, or it uses servers's IP

regards,

Exim will use the server's address to send email. You can make custom changes to use different IP#s for exim. It's easy to change it for all mail; not so easy (but possible) to change it on a per domain basis. Study the exim manual online at exim.org.

However, lest you consider this a safety net for your spammer, let me remind you that the anti-spam community will hold you and your upstream provider responsible. And eventually you'll get blocked. If you make changes to IP#s specifically to avoid people discovering your server is sending spam, then you'll eventually end up on SORBS, which can cost a lot of money to be removed from. And you may even end up on ROKSO (Registry Of Known Spammers) which is a death knell, because no one will ever rent connectivity to you again if you ever get on ROKSO.
