What means tally in the DirectAdmin context?

Tally runs before restore is finished. The success message is delayed until the tally finishes.

DA staff fails to address translation project comments for more context on various words.

It may be good if is used some more common word.

A 'tally' is just a count of something. e.g. bandwidth tally = count bandwidth usage.

Tally is rarely used word per what I have read so far. I would expect usage of a more broadly understandable word. Like re-count or similar, if count is the meaning. Another one is "restatement" but that is also rarely used word.
