So, I just downloaded Thunderbird, because SquirrelMail doesn't support HTML inside e-mails and such. But since I'm very inexperienced with this... thing, I don't know which server to use. Can somebody please explain me how I figure out which server to use?

Edit: Ah: "Outlook cannot talk to SquirrelMail because SquirrelMail itself is a client and not a server."
That's certainly not useful. Seems like I can't let Thunderbird receive my mail then.

Edit 2: Oh wait, it says just a few lines below (I feel stupid): "The best people to ask for the IMAP server settings your Outlook client needs, are those with whom you are getting your mail services from."
Hereby I ask which my IMAP server settings are. :P

Your SMTP, POP3 and IMAP server settings for your email normally are something like mail.YourDomain.com. Try setting it to that in either your Outlook or Thunderbird.

SquirrelMail and Round Cube are Web Mail applications that run on the server where you use your browser to view and compose email.

Thanks for your reply!
After a big hassle, I figured out what was the problem. Guidelines on this server matter are a bit vague to me, but I'm glad it works now.
Again thanks.

@luneproducts,

The fastest way to get help with your hosting account is to ask your webhosting provider. That's not us.
