Which services does Brute Force Monitor actually monitor?

Which services does Brute Force Monitor actually monitor? It's gotta be right in front of my nose. I've searched the help, the forums, and the web, and I don't see it. Apparently it's imperative that I make a fool out of myself asking this question.
- I see it does FTP, Exim & Dovecot, but what else?
- DA?
- SSH?

I need to do something in this area and I'm tossing around using this or Fail2Ban to feed a the pf firewall

2) The newer system works in tandem with the previous, and will scan the logs for the other services (apache, dovecot, exim, proftpd, sshd).

Though I've never seen it blocking any IP from apache logs.
