I added my site and when i try to acces it i get:

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Same when i try to to access phpmyadmin thru the adminpanel
 
Check apache error log. More than likely its a ownership or chmod permission problem.
 
I looked inside the Service Monitor and saw:

httpd Process is stopped

I pressed on Start and i got : An error has occurred

I installed DA on a fresh install of Debian 6 (64)
 
Look at the log viewer for /var/log/directadmin/error_log
 
It shows this

Tried starting it from SSH and hot this

Update:

I removed the Listen 80 from /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and now the httpd is running

httpd httpd (pid 914 959 960 961 962 963 )

But i still cant access the site

Now i can enter my playsite with SSL (https://www.playguru.info) but not with http:www.playguru.info.
 
Note that while others may take the time to study your logs when you post them here, I only do that as part of a commercial service.

But ...

If https leads to your site but http doesn't, then the problem may very well be that your site isn't properly set up in your public_html directory.

Please post the output of the following from a root shell:

ls -al /home/USERNAME/domains/EXAMPLE.COM/public_html/index*
And when you do, show us a copy of what you typed, not USERNAME and not EXAMPLE.COM, which are placeholders for your username and URL.

It might be caused from this error

You might need to remove or comment out the old zend stuff at the bottom of your php.ini then run the following commands:

Do you really have that large space between publ and ic_html? If so, it shouldn't be there and I don't know why it is, but you need to fix it by renaming that directory. If there isn't, then check the contents of index.html, because that's what should be showing up on your site. If that's not what's showing up on your site, then there's a problem either in your directory tree or somewhere in your apache configuration.

Make sure all the directories in the path have the x-bit set.

No its normal its just me that didnt fix it when i copy past.

The content inside the map is showing up but only when i have https else i just get:

You think something went wrong in the installation ?

If i do a reinstall of the server shall i upgrade the server before i do the directadmin installation or shall i just install Debian 6 and then Directadmin ?
 
Did a full reinstall of the server and now it works, something must have went wrong under the last installation.

When i install php5-gd the same thing happens

so i did

aptitude remove php5-gd

How do i install things ?
 
You have to use custombuild and compile things manually. Read the custombuild section of the forum.

Now we know the problem. You've been installing packages using aptitude, and those packages are overwriting your apache configurations.

Ye i know that now. Everything is working exept the imagess(slider/thumbnails)

When i look inside the source of the site i see this:
