Hi Forum,

I'm newbie on using DA on admin level...

when I try to setup a reseller I get the following message:

You have not given the reseller any IP's. Unable to create an assigned IP domain or any nameservers without any

what do I do wrong?

You need to give them either a shared IP or dedicated IP. In most cases a shared IP is enough.

Under Admin --> Server Management --> Manage Reseller Packages --> Add Package

Share Server IP Allow Reseller to create sites with server IP

you can setup IP addresses under:

Admin --> Admin Tools --> IP Management
 
I got the same problem

i got these ips:

78.41.202.212 <-- Needs to be shared for all resellers
78.41.202.213 ns1
78.41.202.214 ns2
78.41.202.215 <-- atm all users are on this ip i moved them.


The ip 78.41.202.212 is the main server ip and needs to be used for all users and resellers there being made ..

i cant get it done if i make a reseller it wont get any IP's :S bin trying to fix this for 6 hours now

78.41.202.212 free 255.255.255.0
78.41.202.213 shared admin 0 255.255.255.0
78.41.202.214 shared admin 0 255.255.255.0
78.41.202.215 shared admin 5 255.255.255.0


This is the Table atm but .212 needs to be server/shared ip for resellers how to fix?

can anyone pm me about this ?
 
Use ip management in admin level and change it to shared.
 
You can assign it to the reseller. Then on reseller ip management you set it as a shared ip for that reseller.
 
Yes that is what i do all the time ....


but that aint is working if i create a reseller then it still wont have any ip's

someone in to take a look at the server?
 
It's possible your DirectAdmin filesystem has somehow gotten an error. You may want to either contact DirectAdmin Support or hire someone to figure it out for you.

I decided to reinstall my whole server tomorrow I has more erros then only this one I hope the reinstall will work :) thnx anway :D
