Problems with editing HTML

Sometimes if I hit save and leave to a new tab to check something, the changes only get partially saved. For some reason, anything I edited in <head> saves but anything in <body> doesn't get saved. This is really strange and I don't know how to fix it. I am using DirectAdmin through x10hosting and I am using the standard layout.

Are you editing your website files through file manager?
