Admin/Reseller user backup not complete (mail missing)

Hi,
When I run the reseller ser backup most of the items get backed up succesfully, however there are 2 mail boxes that are not / not completely transferred over. It looks almost as if after ~5GB the backup decides it's had enough and simply quits.

The user on the old server is roughly 9GB, of which almost all is mail, but the backup is only 5GB in size. I first thought it might be due to compression, but when I do a restore on the new server, I can see 2 mailboxes are not correct.

How do I go about fixing this? I could download all via IMAP/POP3 to a PST file using Outlook and then restoring it, but I'd much rather fix the user backup problem.

Maybe to add: I'm only a reseller on the old server and I'm an admin in the new server. I don't think it has anything to do with that on the new server, it looks as if the old server is simply missing data (9GB vs 5GB).

maybe some backup_tmp_dir limitations on old server. You can try create 2 backups - first one without email data, second one without all rest data but with email. Then restore both on new server. Strange things, i have accounts with 160gb size and 93g emails - all backuped normally.
 
Ok cool, I can try that. I can see the files in the Maildir, could I just zip/download them and simply restore them on the other server? Would that work too?

yes, you can make archive without email data, but with email settings and restore it and overwrite with separately archived email in filemanager
