hi i need some assistance with migrating from one DA server to another. The old one is having performance issues and i found it was better to spin up a new server with more resources for less money than work on the old one.

I am very willing to pay for someone reliable to do the migration as well. The server it is on is brand new and not messed with. DA is using a monthly license there that I will transition to my lifetime license once migration is completed. I have root login's on both as well as all the info for control panel on both sides plus login with godaddy for name servers and 1&1 for reloading the OS if needed.

what would you charge for this?
Transfer of backup files was about 7-8 mins, since it's the same network internally it's fast and i confirmed it's 25gb fiber.
Accounts are under 20
one large account is ecommerance and needs to have an optimized database which i haven't known how to do.
i use installatron and will transfer that license to this new server
OS is baseline and updated, fresh install of DA has been done
server can be reloaded fresh if requested.

Cutover can begin anytime that works for you. I am in the US and sunday's are a bit light on websites so an hour downtime or less is ok. the biggest key is i don't want orders to come in on the old server while we are migrating.

You can forget about that. You can not downgrade licenses. You can use either modern or lifetime.
You can go from lifetime to modern (montly) but you can not go from montly to lifetime.

So if you want to move, you have to install the new server with the lifetime license (yes that can be done, but then on the old server DA login is not possible anymore).
After installation you can activate the licese on the old server again, then make your backups and transfer them to the new server.
Activate lifetime license on new server again and restore all accounts and check if everything is ok. Once done, shutdown the old server.

You can ask @zEitEr or @smtalk for this, both are great in this kind of work.
