APR in Custombuild has been downgraded to version 1.6.5 wich do not have any problems. So unless you upgraded Apache before APR was downgraded, you should not have any problems.

Easy access to Client Database management without login

-1, We absolutely do NOT need this feature. This is what "login as user" is for, just login as user and do what you need to do.

Delay to respond from Direct Admin

Please do not double post. You have already created a forum thread about it here: https://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=58779 Nobody in this forum can help you with this. DirectAdmin support would not suspend your licenses if you did not violate the terms. I am sorry, but I do not...

eror Unable to read History File (User History)

I don't think this is a bug. It happens because the History File is not yet generated, so it does not exist. It will be generated the next night after tally have run (if the user has done a log in to DirectAdmin), and then the "error" will be gone.

    Acronis backup for DirectAdmin

We are currently using R1Soft and their DirectAdmin module wich let our shared hosting customers log in to our R1Soft backup server and restore bacups. However we would like to use Acronis backup instead. But Acronis backup does not yet have a DirectAdmin module. If you also would like to use...

Admin Backup/Transfer to have option for user path

We use R1Soft for backup on our shared hosting servers. However we don't use R1Soft for database backups, because we have found it to be unreliable. Instead we use "Admin Backup/Transfer" to setup a cron job for backing up all databases to /home/admin/admin_backups a few minutes before R1Soft...

Can't find which user/process is doing login attempts

I wattie case, maybe it could just be a user that uploaded all the files for a CMS, but did not bother to finish the installation and left it without filling in the database details in a php file? Then this could occur every time someone visit the site?

Default Change discussion: MySQL 5.7 by default

@ikkeben, CentOS is the same as RedHat except branding and subscription is removed and CentOS repack the RedHat packages into CentOS. So CentOS 8 will be the same as RedHat 8.

    Backup rotation?

No, it will run every day, it says sunday just to show a example of what will be put in the file name. The backup will be generated every day as long as you create the cron job so that is run every day.

    Backup rotation?

You only need to create one cron job, create the cron job so that it runs daily.

Default Change discussion: MySQL 5.7 by default

To be honest, if cPanel server administrators is so incompetent that they do not understand that they should setup DirectAdmin with the same MySQL or MariaDB version they use on cPanel before restoring backups, then they should not be responsible for managing servers, just like you should not...

Default Change discussion: MySQL 5.7 by default

If it makes any difference, I can mention that CentOS 8 will be shipped with MariaDB 10.3.x: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/8/html/deploying_different_types_of_servers/using-databases Again, please do not make MySQL default, that is going in the wrong...

Default Change discussion: MySQL 5.7 by default

If I understand you correctly, it would still be MariaDB that is default, not MySQL? That the only change is for people wanting to run MySQL, wich would then be 5.7 as default? We are only using MariaDB, and would never switch to MySQL, not ever. We are currently running MariaDB 10.3.x, and...

File not found on password screen?

Personally I never restore the admin user when I do server migrations, because I do not have any domains under the admin user. However if you do, then I understand you would want to restore the admin user also.

File not found on password screen?

I just tested on Enhanced on one of my servers, and on "Reseller Level" - "Change Password" it looks good, I do not get a "File not found" text like you did. So that is strange that you get this. The other thing, if you log in "as a user" and then change password, I think it is best to select...

Move server, fast Letsencrypt SSL change?

It must be different when the backup is generated by cPanel then. I would not know, I have never used cPanel. The only thing I can say for sure, is that the last time (maybe two years ago) I did a server migration from one DirectAdmin server to another, it was not needed to generate new...

Move server, fast Letsencrypt SSL change?

When you use admin backup in DirectAdmin to generate a bacup and restore it on another server with DirectAdmin, all domains with SSL certificates get those transferred. You do not need to generate the certificates after the restore, the old certificates is still valid and is restored during...

    Backup rotation?

That is not a problem. Instead of deleting the old backups, DirectAdmin can overwrite the old backups. So if you only want to keep 7 days on remote FTP server, then in the drop down for "Append to path" you select "Day of week". Then you will never have more then the 7 last days in backups, and...
