I presume you are talking about free panels? Because cPanel does this the same way as DA. So it's not that bad and CP is way bigger and more expensive.
Only Plesk creates a user per webspace, but they use a complete different setup anyway. And DA can do that too.
Why? You can just create a user...
Compared to lifetime licenses maybe. But don't forget these licenses did not exist before. DA started with them (before lifetime was legacy) and with that force other players on the market to start something similar too. Which is cheap and great for hobbyists and developpers and was never...
That goes not only for any panel but for any piece of software or even anything in life.
If you want to trust on AI you got another thing coming with all mistakes they still provide.
If you want guarantee's, it's best to program your own software/script/panel or whatever.
As @DirectAdmin Sales already wrote, this is not true.
So that is what your ISP needs to do. Contact Directadmin themselves. DA will do nothing with your proof, the hosting provider needs to contact DA themselves.
If they don't or can't, then it's end of story and you need to get a license...
I don't have the leading dot, just bc.googleusercontent.com in the file. However, they found a new trick.
They use all kinds of domains. Then use Google to send the mails. So Google mailservers are now used including their spf and dkim records. I didn't find a way to block them yet, except for...
We don't only have 1 vps with no seperate ip so hopefully the migration can be also done inplace, or by removing current DS and installing the new one. A short outage time is no problem for us.
Not quite true. Directadmin will still be running, but DA -will- stop supporting things having to do with database. Like creating databases, users, passwords and everything else DA does. One has to do it manually.
That's both great news! Nice to hear you're still alive and kicking.
Eager to see the new version, looks very good. I presume upgrading will not be easy too. Great work!
If you want an old version to persist then you could add it to an higher slot number and keep it there.
But I know what you mean. Kindlike how CP has it. You can choose there that a PHP version will be inherited or not. If not, then it will automatically kept if the main server PHP version will...
Strange, on all my Alma servers that folder only contains a .htaccess file. I do have some imap errors from users in the current errors.log in the /var/log/roundcube folder.
Maybe try rebuilding Roundcube again?
On a lot of servers that is still working. :)
I'm now looking for a "if it's from there, but not created their /except forwardings/ then it's spam". :)
Which is not really true either in several cases but Google should just take better care that these things are not happening.
If they provide...
No it's good. Seems DA has change the roundcube log to /var/log/roundcube and csf is pointing to that too. Check it out, it's all fine. At least on Alma. Might be fixed on the newer version DA, but in my case it's all good (DA 1710).
Disabling cronjobs in Directadmin just does that. It does not disable or stop the whole crond service.
So if something would be able to add the correct commands via a shell (hack scripts can do that too) to make a cronjob, this is also possible.
But even worse, check post 4 from id14, I also...
Thank you very much, but I think here is where it would go wrong for me.
I'm no scripter so often I don't really understand these things fully. But doesn't this block everything except what is in the whitelist? Or am I misunderstanding something here?
Would be very hard for me and I also would...
