    DirectAdmin 1.672

Yeah, I figured. Didn’t realize the PHP processes were added to the pignore file. Nevertheless, it’s good to understand why. Turning off CSF warnings is a no-go for me, as I process them in a centralized log system and dashboard. I run a lot of custom filters and other functions (ab)using CSF...

    DirectAdmin 1.672

We’re experiencing the same issue across 50+ servers. Since the update, we’re getting constant LFD alerts for resource usage, including memory and process count. Servers that haven’t received the DA updates recently are not affected by this problem. Sure I can disable the LFD reports or...

    Paste SSL certificate

Hello, I’m nearing completion of my plugin that uses the DirectAdmin API and Namecheap API to order and install SSL certificates. However, I have a question regarding the DirectAdmin API. Why is it necessary to always include the disable_letsencrypt_autorenew parameter when pasting non-Let's...

Autolearn documentation missing report ham script

I know how to use the help function, thank you. Does not mean per definition that is all what was added to the script, and imho it would be nice to have a up-to-date documentation on the subject.

Knowledge Base - Errors or omissions

Hi Richard, In that case, you have not read my post correctly then, please see the difference between 'sa-learn-ham.sh' and 'sa-learn-spam.sh' Only the first file (SPAM) (that you indeed have to create yourself) is there, not the version for HAM.

Autolearn documentation missing report ham script

Hi Richard, There is only 'sa-learn-spam.sh' but not 'sa-learn-ham.sh', yet it is being used in the code (point 8.).

Knowledge Base - Errors or omissions

Page: https://docs.directadmin.com/other-hosting-services/preventing-spam/incoming-spam.html Omission: Inside this page there are references to a file named 'sa-learn-ham.sh', but the file itself is nowhere to be found. Would be nice if the whole teach SpamAssassin subject could be rewritten or...

Autolearn documentation missing report ham script

Hi tristan, Good idea, thank you for the suggestion. Will place it there, too. But if anyone has a version of the 'sa-learn-ham.sh' script, please do share :) I assume it would be this: #!/bin/bash # you can also use tcp/ip here, consult spamc(1) inputmail=`/usr/bin/cat`...

Autolearn documentation missing report ham script

It would indeed be nice if the people at DirectAdmin could check and either remove or edit the information at https://docs.directadmin.com/other-hosting-services/preventing-spam/incoming-spam.html Debug: sieve: action pipe: executable path `/usr/local/bin/dovecot-sieve/sa-learn-ham.sh' for...

Web Interface learning Spam/Ham, cannot learn from command line

While I know this is a rather old thread, it came up in my search - so for those struggling with the same: rspamc -h /var/run/rspamd/rspamd_controller.sock learn_spam <file>

    Rspamd stops logging on logrotate

I'm facing the same issue, AlmaLinux release 8.7 (Stone Smilodon) and rspamd installed using custombuild. [root@s012 ~]# file /var/run/rspamd.pid /var/run/rspamd.pid: cannot open `/var/run/rspamd.pid' (No such file or directory) So this seems like a bug.

    security.txt in bulk

For anyone else (apache), you can add it in custom 'webapps.list'. I've placed the file in /var/www/html/.well-known [root@web02 custom]# pwd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/custom [root@web02 custom]# cat webapps.list .well-known/pki-validation=.well-known/pki-validation...

    Greylisting (non-rspamd)

Hi mxroute, Thank you for your reply. Where I normally run custom setups of mailservers I now have multiple customers using DirectAdmin as part of their mail setup. Of course when greylisting you build some sort of whitelist/reputation list; in effect I do not have had customers complain about...

    Greylisting (non-rspamd)

I know Greylisting works when using rspamd, but we're still using spamassassin and prefer to keep using that. is there any out-of-the-box method to enabling greylisting (greylistd?) with the 'default' DA setup? I am seeing some older forum topics with instructions, but they are not really...

    Spam folder location

I found https://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=1679 But I am also not sure what the whole deal is with the inbox.spam folder but pretty sure there is some logic behind it. Just don't know it, yet.

DirectAdmin Junk folder & catch-all account.

Hello, I have been migrating customers to Directadmin but ran into some trouble. At first the default 'spam' folder was created, so users now had their 'Junk' folder AND 'spam' folder. And after users complaining I followed the following instructions...

Rebuilding exim /usr/local/lib/libpcre.so.1: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line

Ok fixed it, For those who may encounter the same issue; I had a custom exim entry within the /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/custom_versions.txt file. Removing the file and rebuilding now works. Rookie mistake, shame. :<
