550 .htaccess: Permission denied

Hi, sorry if not well understood but I am using a translator, the problem is to hire a server recently and told me that I am the administrator, I had never before worked with directadmin and I'm learning to use, the matter is there I can not modify files, and I mention that I have to change the permissions of files, this is the answer I got the owners of the server, as I do this?​

Is the Server your? If yes, you need to change wonership of those file in SSH.

Use: chown -R admin:admin /home/admin/domains/compartiga.com/public_html/*

Excuse my ignoranicia supposedly am the administrator of this server, but never use this platform, how do I access SSH?

You need putty if you are a Windows user.

Also, ill not suggest to access ssh untill you exactly know what to do.

Ill suggest you to hire someone for do this kind of jobs, me, zeiter and nobaloney use to offer this kind of service.
