When the username was changed, i believe the user actually was able to login to their control panel, and created some POP3 accounts.
I changed the users account name to something under 10 characters, however with these email accounts that were created under the longer name, when the user tries to login to SquirrelMail the following error is recorded:
Oct 20 12:06:26 $SERVER_NAME dovecot[5239]: IMAP(USERS_EMAIL@USERS_DOMAIN.TLD): mkdir(/home/$USERNAME/imap/USERS_DOMAIN.TLD/USERS_EMAIL/Maildir/cur) failed: Permission denied
Obviously this is because the old USER_NAME has been changed.
However the user is able to login to UebiMiaui
I have asked the user to try removing the POP3 accounts and re-adding them. I'll update this thread when they have done so.
