I'm curious, for those that have set up Acronis for their back up solution, what method of authentication did you use for the initial plugin set up?

I've attemtpted to use both API keys and a user/pass without MFA option, but keep running into failure messages on the login set up. I've checked console, disabled firewalls, whitelisted ports and ranges, you name it.

Acronis support is harder to get ahold of then the president it feels like. Appreciate the insight!

Figured it out finally for those that run into a future similar issue! API Key option just doesn't work at the moment (prove me wrong please), but if you convert an additional cyber protect console user into strictly a service account, logins will finally work.

Can you please share more details on how to do this?

I'm in contact with Acronis support. They told me to use the connection verification tool (msp_port_checker_tool.exe), which is pointing to the certificate issue, but so far, support is only repeating their mantra about blocked ports
