cant login to control panel occasionally

admin password stops working occasionally

on two separate occasions now I cant login to the control panel or ftp unless I reboot the machine. I THINK both situations occurred just after I have added a new domain to my admin account.

The directadmin error.log has this as the most recent entry:

ConfigFile::writeFile(/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/ftp.passwd) : Timestamp from when it was read is different, overwriting anyway

Right now the ftp.passwd file is empty.

anyone have any ideas?
